Internship in qualitative market research

Full-time (40 hours/ week) for a duration of a minimum of 3 months from September 2016 onwards.
We welcome students who are required to carry out a mandatory internship typically in the following sectors: social sciences (sociology), linguistics, political science and psychology. The successful candidate will work with us on our international studies in all research stages and steps from the client’s briefing to the delivery of the final report in PowerPoint. Furthermore, they will prepare presentation documents in PowerPoint.

Students are required to have the following skills:

  • social skills and good communication skills:
    Human touch, maturity, interest in interpersonal communication.
  • language requirements:
    The candidate should have a good command of the English and German language (verbal as well as written). Other language skills are welcome.
  • analytical thinking:
    The candidate should be able to analyze data critically, to formulate hypotheses, to justify theses through information and facts and to read between the lines.
  • basic understandings of social research methods:
    Successful candidates should have a basic understanding of empirical research. They will, however, be introduced into qualitative research methods, so they don’t need to have any detailed knowledge.
